I'm sure this looks simple, but I'm loosing a step somewhere leaving me with an answer unable to show how I got there!

First, get rid of the fractions by multiplying every term by the LCD --> namely x-3. This then gives:

1+%2B+7%28x-3%29+=+x which looks so much simpler.
1+%2B+7x+-+21+=+x
7x+-+20+=+x
6x+-+20+=+0
6x+=+20
x+=+20%2F6
x+=+10%2F3
