Question 236769: ok here's the question if you can get back to me asap much appreciated
an athlete jogged for 20 minutes at a constant speed. Then she got on a bike and rode for 7 minutes in the opposite direction at twice her running speed. The athlete then reversed directions again and walked for 3 minutes at 40% of her initial running speed. After 30 minutes, the athlete found herself 3456 feet from her starting point. Find the athlete's three speeds.

You can put this solution on YOUR website!
20(x) - 7(2x) + 3(.4x) = 3456

7.2x = 3456

x = 480 ft/min ___ about 5.5 mph

2x = 960 ft/min

.4x = 192 ft/min
