Question 23654: the directions are write an equation in slope intercept form for a line that passes through the given point and is parallel to the given line. the points are (-7, 3) and the line equation is x = 4 how do i solve that??

You can put this solution on YOUR website!
The line x=4 is straight up and down thru the point
(4,anything). You want the equation of a line that
is straight up and down but thru the point (-7,anything)
That line has the equation x=-7.
