You can put this solution on YOUR website! We know distance=rate*time.  We also know these distances must be equal.  So, we can create the equation rate1*time1=rate2*time2, or 60h=40(2h-5).  Solving for h then gives us h=10.  But we're not done yet!  We want the time Gene traveled, 2h-5.  So using h=10 we get 15 hours.
