Question 234162: (4x+3y^2-2)(-3) using distributive properties. I got the answer as
(4x + 6y - -6)
Then I also have (5/6)(24x^2 - 18x + 12) also using distributive properties and the answer I got for that is (5/6)(558x + 12) I am wondering if that is right or if not, what steps to take to get it right.
Thank you,
Christine

You can put this solution on YOUR website!
(4x+3y^2-2)(-3)
= -12x - 9y^2 + 6
-----------------
using distributive properties. I got the answer as
(4x + 6y - -6) How did you get that?
==================================
Then I also have
(5/6)(24x^2 - 18x + 12)
= 5*(4x^2 - 3x + 2)
= 20x^2 - 15x + 10
