1/s = 1/r - 1/t = (t-r)/rt
s = rt/(t-r)

The first thing I would do is get the part with s in it by itself.
This can be done by subtracting 1/t from both sides.
%281%2Fr%29+-+%281%2Ft%29+=+1%2Fs
Now multiply both sides by s
s%2A%28%281%2Fr%29-%281%2Ft%29%29+=+1
Then divide both sides by [(1/r)-(1/t)]
s+=+1%2F%28%281%2Fr%29-%281%2Ft%29%29
