16^2/16^x+16^x = 40
256+16^2x = 40(16^x)
16^2x-40(16^x)+256 = 0
16^2x-8(16^x)-32(16^x)+256 = 0
16^x(16^x-8)-32(16^x-8) = 0
(16^x-32)(16^x-8) = 0
16^x = 32 or 16^x = 8
x = 5/4 or x = 3/4
