You can put this solution on YOUR website!
I assume you missed putting an "x" in your
equation. If that is true, the slope of the given line is -1/2.
The slope of the line perpendicular to the given line is the
negative reciprocal of the given line.
The negative reciprocal of-1/2 is +2.
The slope you are looking for is +2.
