Question 231801: Factor the polynomial completely
625m^5n^4 - 1715m^2n^7

You can put this solution on YOUR website! Hello,
Let's work on the numbers first. What is the greatest number that goes in 625 and 1715? Appears that 5 is the greatest. so it will look like this:
5(125m^5n^4 - 343m^2n7) Now, the most powers we can pull out of m is m^2 and out of n is n^4 so now we have:
5m^2n^4(125m^3 - 343n^3) This is completely factored now. (Note: factor in math means basically multiplication of two numbers)
