Question 23165: the math problem is : b+5=3b-9
Answer by stanbon(75887) (Show Source):
You can put this solution on YOUR website! Subtract "b" from both sides of the equation to get 5= 2b-9
Add "9" to both sides of the equation to get 14= 2b
Divide both sides of the equation to get b = 7
Check your answer in the original equation:
7+5 = 3(7)-9
12 = 12
