You can put this solution on YOUR website!
My numerator is divisible by 3. My denominator is divisible by 5. My denominator is 4 less than twice my numerator. What's the fraction?
--------------
Numerator = 3x
Denominator = 5y
----------
Equation: 5y = 2(3x) - 4
5y = 6x-4
y = (6/5)x - 4
-----------------------
If x = 5, y = 6-4 = 2
---------------------------
Fraction: (3x)/(5y) = 15/10 = 3/2
