PLEASE NOTE: I made a TERRIBLE error in this problem, now corrected thanks to the CORRECT solution by AnyltcPhil. Thanks Phil.
1.5m%5E6%28-2m%5E2%29%5E4
%283%2F2%29m%5E6%2A16m%5E8

Notice that %283%2F2%29%2A16=+3%2A8=+24
24m%5E14

Does that match up to any of your multiple choice answers?

You can put this solution on YOUR website!

1.5m6(-2m2)4

Use the rule (AB)N = ANBN

1.5m6(-2)4(m2)4

Use the fact that (-2)4 = +16 and the fact that
(m2)4 = m8

1.5m6(16)m8

Rearrange the factors so that the numbers come first

1.5(16)m6m8

Multiply 1.5 by 16 and get 24

24m6m8

Add the exponents of m6 and m8 and get m14

24m14
