Question 229919: In a marketing class, 44 student members of virtual project teams (group1) and 42 members of face-to-face project teams (group2) were asked to respond on a 1-5 scale to the question: “As compared to other teams, the members helped each others.” For group 1 the mean was a standard deviation of 0.97, while for group 2 the mean was 1.90 with a standard deviation of 0.91. At alfa = .01, is the virtual team mean significantly higher?

You can put this solution on YOUR website!
In a marketing class, 44 student members of virtual project teams (group1) and 42 members of face-to-face project teams (group2) were asked to respond on a 1-5 scale to the question: “As compared to other teams, the members helped each others.”
For group 1 the mean was a standard deviation of 0.97, while
for group 2 the mean was 1.90 with a standard deviation of 0.91.
At alfa = .01, is the virtual team mean significantly higher?
-----------------------------------------------------------
Ho: u(vert)-u(face) = 0
Ha: u(vert)-u(face) > 0
----
Comment: The mean for group 1 is missing so the problem
cannot be worked.
