You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Solve and check your answer

2x%2B6%2F5=x%2B4%2F3

Step 1. Multiply by 15 to get rid of denominators.

15%2A2x%2B15%2A6%2F5=15%2Ax%2B15%2A4%2F3

30x%2B18=15x%2B20

Step 2. Subtract 15x from both sides of the equation

30x%2B18-15x=cross%2815x%29%2B20-cross%2815x%29

15x%2B90=20

Step 3. Subtract 18 from both sides of the equation

15x%2Bcross%2818%29-cross%2818%29=20-18

15x=2

Step 4. Divide by 15 to both sides of the equatioin

cross%2815%29x%2Fcross%2815%29=2%2F15

x=2%2F15

Step 5. To check solution, substitute x=2%2F15 into original equation 2x%2B6%2F5=x%2B4%2F3

2%282%2F15%29%2B6%2F5=2%2F15%2B4%2F3

4%2F15%2B18%2F15=2%2F15%2B20%2F15

22%2F15=22%2F15 which is a true statement

Step 6. ANSWER: The solution is x=2%2F15

I hope the above steps were helpful.
