Find the volume of the cylinder r=3 (half the diameter) h=47 (less the height of the half sphere)
V = pi%2Ar%5E2%2Ah
V = pi%2A3%5E2%2A47
V = 1328.9 cu/ft

Find the volume of half a sphere
V = %281%2F2%29%2A%284%2F3%29%2Api%2Ar%5E3
V = %284%2F6%29%2Api%2A3%5E3
V = %282%2F3%29%2Api%2A27
V = 56.5 cu/ft
