You can put this solution on YOUR website!
If a%2Fb=c%2Fd, then ad=bc.

In the same way:
If %28p%2B3%29%2F2=%28p-1%29%2F6, then 6%28p%2B3%29+=+2%28p-1%29
6p+18 = 2p-2

Subtract 2p from each side:
4p +18= -2

Subtract 18 from each side:
4p+18-18 = -2 -18
4p=-20

Divide both sides by 4:
p=-5

Check the answer:
%28p%2B3%29%2F2=%28p-1%29%2F6
%28-5%2B3%29%2F2+=+%28-5-1%29%2F6
%28-2%29%2F2=%28-6%29%2F6
-1=-1
It checks!
