You can put this solution on YOUR website!
chris=x=6
paula=x+1=7
myran=x+6=12
---------------
x+(x+1)+(x+6)=25
3x+7=25
subtract 7
3x+7-7=25-7
3x=18
x=6

respected madam,
it is my great pleasure that i could solve the problem ,
this is the right answer i am confident ,you can take into your account.
solution
suppose charis caught x fishes
paula = (x+1)
and maryan caught y no of fishes so as per give instruction and to convert this problem into single variable ie into either y or x
we have to equate two equation here
x+1 =y-5
we get x= y-6
put it into sum of three = 25
y-6) +(y-5)+y =25
3y-11=25
3y=36
y=12
so maryan cought y =12 fishes
and paula caught y-5= 12-5=7 fishes
and charis =y-6=6 fishes
so this is correct as 6+7+12 =25 fishes
thanks
faithfully
