Work from the inside out. Get rid of parentheses.
32=[4+6x-5(x+4]=4(3x+4)-[6(3x-4)+7-4x]
32 = [4+6x -5x-20] = 12x+16 - [18x-24 +7-4x]
There are too many equal signs, but you see the approach.
