Question 227977: I am trying to help my daughter with solving rational expressions - and I have forgotten exactly how to do it
The problem is:
F = f1f2/f1+f2 --- Solve for f2. I know the first step is to multiply both sides by f1+f2 to get it out of the denominator.
this leaves: (f1+f2)F = f1f2 or F(f1)+F(f2) = f1f2 --- I forgot what to do next - except I know I need to isolate f2.

You can put this solution on YOUR website! Try this! Your first step is good! Now you need to collect the 's together. Perform the indicated multiplication on the left side. Now subtractfrom both sides. Factor the on the right side. Finally, divide both sides byleaving on the right side. or
