You can put this solution on YOUR website!
What is 26=6(5-a)?

Step 1. Given 26=6%285-a%29, multiply to get rid of the parenthesis

26=30-6a

Step 2. Add 6a-26 to both sides of the equation

26%2B6a-26=30-6a%2B6a-26

6a=4

Step 3. Divide by 6 to both sides of the equation

6a%2F6=4%2F6

a=2%2F3

Step 4. Substitute the solution a=2%2F3 into equation 26=30-6a

26=30-6%2A2%2F3

26=30-4

26=26

Step 5. ANSWER: The solution is a=2%2F3

I hope the above steps were helpful.
