So you should 1st write:
log... = (2/5)
You are applying that exponent to some number or letter.
In your case that is the number 32. It is the base of
your logarithm statement.
So now you have this:
log(base32)... = (2/5)
When you apply the exponent to the base you get a number or a letter.
In your case that result is the number "4".
So now you have this:
log(base 32)4 = (2/5)
