the mode is the value that occurs most frequently, so 94 has to be added twice ___ 70, 94, 94, 100
___ this will also help to make the median value 94

for the five data values to have a mean of 94, they must sum to (5 * 94) or 470

70 + 94 + 94 + 100 + x = 470 ___ 358 + x = 470 ___ x = 112

70, 94, 94, 100, 112
