You can put this solution on YOUR website!
2.4=3%28m%2B4%29

Step 1. Multiply by 10 to both sides of the equation to get rid of the decimal point

10%2A.24=10%2A3%28m%2B4%29

24=30%28m%2B4%29

24=30m%2B120

Step 2. Subtract 120 from both sides of the equation

24-120=30m%2B120-120

-96=30m

Step 3. Divide by 30 m to both sides of the equation

-96%2F30=30m%2F30

-3.2=m

Step 4. Check solution with original equation

2.4=3%28-3.2%2B4%29

2.4=3%280.8%29

2.4=2.4 which is a true statement.

Step 5. ANSWER. The solution is m=-3.2.

I hope the above steps were helpful.
