24x/(24+x)=15
24x=15(24+x)
24x=360+15x
24x-15x=360
9x=360
x=360/9
x=40 minutes for his brother working alone to load the truck.
Proof:
24*40/(24+40)=15
960/64=15
15=15

the FRACTION of the truck that Kyle loads is 15/24

the FRACTION that Kyle' brother loads is 15/B, where B is the brother's time alone

the two FRACTIONS sum to 1, the WHOLE job

15/24 + 15/B = 1
