You can put this solution on YOUR website!
can you help me please. 6=3+5(d-2)
this is what i tried. 6=3+5(d-2)
6=3+5d-10 good
6=-7+5d good

Step 1. Now add 7 to both sides of the equation and to isolate d on the right side.

6%2B7=-7%2B5d%2B7

13=5d

Step 2. Divide by 5 to both sides of the equation to get d

13%2F5=5d%2F5

13%2F5=d

Step 3. Check solution with original equation

6=3%2B5%28d-2%29=3%2B5%2813%2F5-2%29=3%2B5%2813-10%29%2F5 or 6=6 which is a true statement.

Step 4. ANSWER: d=13%2F5

I hope the above steps and explanation were helpful.
