You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Factor by grouping:

x%5E2%2B2xy%2B3x%2B6y

Step 1. Factor out x in the first two terms and factor out 3 in the last two terms:

x%5E2%2B2xy%2B3x%2B6y=x%28x%2B2y%29%2B3%28x%2B2y%29

Step 2. The factor x%2B2y is common to both groups in parenthesis, so factor that out.

x%5E2%2B2xy%2B3x%2B6y=%28x%2B2y%29%28x%2B3%29

Step 3. ANSWER: x%5E2%2B2xy%2B3x%2B6y=%28x%2B2y%29%28x%2B3%29

I hope the above steps were helpful.
