You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Find the polynomial function that has the given zeros: 0, -2, and –3.

This is done by solving in reverse. If you had solved the equation,
you would have ended up with

x = 0,  x = -2 and x = -3

Before that you would have had

x = 0, x + 2 = 0 and x + 3 = 0

Before that you would have had

x(x + 2)(x + 3) = 0

Before that you would have had

(x2 + 2x)(x + 3) = 0

Before that you would have had

x3 + 3x2 + 2x2 + 6x = 0 or

x3 + 5x2 + 6x = 0

The polynomial function to find the zeros of would have been

P(x) = x3 + 5x2 + 6x
