Step 1. Since -8 and 3 are solutions then x=-8 and x=3 or x+8=0 and x-3=0.

Step 2. Multiply by (x+8)(x-3)=0 using the FOIL method.



Step 3. ANSWER: The quadratic equation is x%5E2%2B5x-24=0
