Step 1. Graph the linear system of equations

Step 2. Based on the above graph, the intersection point is (3,-1).

Step 3. Check if (3,-1) or x=3 and y=-1 satisfies the system of equaitons

Given 2x%2By=5, then 2%2A3%2B%28-1%29=5 which is a true statment.
Given x%2By=2, then 3%2B%28-1%29=2 which is a true statement.

Step 4. ANSWER: The solution sis (3,-1) or x=3 and y=-1.
