You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Why is every real number is a complex number?

Step 1. A complex number is a+bi where a and b are real numbers and i=sqrt%28-1%29

Step 2. So a=a+0i is a real number such that b=0 or a+0i.

Step 3. ANSWER: Based on the above steps, a is a special case of a complex number a+bi where b=0.

I hope the above steps and explanation were helpful.
