Question 224764: I am having problems finding answers to problems with slope and finding it with perpendicular and pararrel lines. I am lost after finding the slope from y2-y1, x2-x1 from there I don't understand anymore and I have a test on Wed. Please help. Either show me how or direct me to where I can get help. Thanks for your time, It is a good thing offering help for free. Keep up the good work.

You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Examples:
You have 2 points on a graph (-2,5) & (6,-3)
The slope=(y2-y1)/(x2-x1)
slope=(-3-5)/(6+2)=-8/8=-1 for this slope.
Two different points (-4,-7) & (2,4)
slope=(4+7)/(2+4)=11/6 for this slope.
