I assume you want to plot the line. It takes two points to plot the point.

Step 1. Let x=0, then y=-12. So one point is (0,-12).

Step 2. Let y=0, then0=-2x%2F3-12 or 12=-2x%2F3%7D%7D+or+%7B%7B%7Bx=-18. So the other point is (-18,0)

Also note that the above line is given as slope-intercept form given as y=mx+b where m is the slope and b is the y-intercept when x=0 or at point (0,b). For the above example, the slope m=-2/3 and b=-12 or at point (0,-12).
