Question 220909: 3. Combine like terms, and write in descending order: 3/4 x^3+4x^2-x^3+7
now ive tryed this so far but not sure if right please help me
3/4x, 3/4x, 3/4x = 21/64x
4x, 4x = 16x
x, x, x =x^3
7 = 7
16x + 7 + 21/64x + x^3
is this correct? Answer by edjones(8007) (Show Source):
You can put this solution on YOUR website! (3/4)x^3+4x^2-x^3+7
=3x^3/4 +4x^2-x^3+7
=-x^3/4 +4x^2+7 [(-4x^3/4) - (3x^3/4) = (-x^3/4)]
