You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Formula for area of a circle is:
A=pi%28r%5E2%29
r is the radius, which is half the diameter. So for your circle,
A=pi%282%5E2%29
A=4%28pi%29
A=12.56 square feet
--------------
Formula for area of a rectangle is:
A=l%2Aw
l is th length, and w is the width. So for your rectangle,
A=5%2A3
A=15 square feet
--------------
So you can see the circle has less area.
