 y +  3
 x = -4, and -4 squared = +16, because a negative times a negative is a positive.
 Remember that you have a subtraction sign after the 20, before the positive 16, so the problem on top becomes 20 - 16, which equals 4.
 y = -1, so the bottom part = -1 + 3 which is the same as 3 - 1, which equals 2.
 so the top of your fraction = 4, and the bottom = 2... so 4/2 = 2!
