SOLUTION: Please help me solve this equation:
Find the maximum or minimum value
f(x)= 3(x+10)(x-8)
I tried doing this..
x intercepts= -10 and 8, so (-10+8) /2= -1
But when I plugg

Question 220355: Please help me solve this equation:
Find the maximum or minimum value
f(x)= 3(x+10)(x-8)
I tried doing this..
x intercepts= -10 and 8, so (-10+8) /2= -1
But when I plugged -1 in for x and I came out with the minimum as -243, but that just seems to ridiculous as an answer.. Answer by rapaljer(4671) (Show Source):
