You can put this solution on YOUR website! Need more information like are you trying to factor and solve for x because as it is written you just have an expression there. If you need to factor, it equation must be set to 0.
Here's what to do if you must factor
m^2+m-30=0, set up to "de-FOIL" trinomial
(m + or - ___)(m + or - ___), find the factors of 30 that when added or subtracted give you 1
30 * 1, 15 * 2, 10 * 3, 6 * 5 are the possible factors, but 6 and 5 when subtracted give you 1
Since 30 is negative, one of the factors, either 6 or 5, must be negative; however, since we know that 6-5=1 and 5-6=-1 and the middle term is positive 1 the answer is (m-5)(m+6)
