so it means that: angle ABD + angle BCD = 90 degrees
(5y + 1) + (3y - 1) = 90
8y = 90
y = 90/8 = 11.25

so, angle ABD = (5*11.25 + 1) = 57.25 degrees
and angle BCD = (3*11.25 - 1) = 32.75 degrees
