Question 218084: (x-2)^3/4 = 2
[(x-2)^3/4]^4 = 2^-4
(x-2)^3 =-8
x-2 = 3sqrt-8 = 3sqrt2 * 3sqrt-4
x = 2 + 2 (3sqrt2)
This is the answer I got but I do not feel too sure is right, can you help me.

(a-1)^1/3 = -3
[(a-1)^1/3]-3 = -3^-3
(a-1)^1 = -27
a-1 = 1sqrt-27 = 1sqrt3 * 1sqrt9
x = 1 + 3 (1sqrt3)

You can put this solution on YOUR website!
(x-2)^3/4 = 2
[(x-2)^(3/4)]^(4/3) = 2^(4/3)
x-2 = cube root of 16
x = (cube root of 16) + 2
---------------------------------
[(a-1)^1/3]^(3) = (-3)^(3)
a-1 = -27
a = -26
