You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Can i have some examples of rational #s and irrational #s please. i am so CONFUSED!

Step 1. Rational numbers are that can be expressed as fractions and as a ratio of whole integers like:

15=5%2F1%7C,0.2=1%2F5, -2=-2%2F1, and 1%2F3=0.3333333... and so on. The last example 1%2F3 has repeating digits so it is a rational number.

Step 2. Irrational numbers cannot be expressed as fractions and as a ratio of whole integers like:

sqrt%282%29, pi, sqrt%285%29. Note that pi or pi=3.1415926... has non-repeating digits and therefore is an irrational number.

I hope the above steps and explanation were helpful.
