Question 21671: What is the vertex form for the function's y= x^2-4x+6, y=x^2+2x+5, y=6x^2-10, y= -5x^2+12, y= 4x^2+7x, y=2x^2+x, y= 2x^2-5x+12? Answer by LKHolland(3) (Show Source):
You can put this solution on YOUR website! to find the vertex just use the equation....
x= (-b)/(2*a) so the first one would be
1. y=x^2-4x+6
x=(4)/(2*1)
x= 2
the rest i am just going to put in the answers
2. -1
3. 0
4. 0
5. -7/8
6. -1/4
7. 1/2
