First, put the 7/8 into a decimal form...do you know how to do that? Good, then your answer should be...
7 ÷ 8 = 0.875
So then 0.875in. x 680 = ??
595 miles is your answer!

680*.875=595 mi
I like decimals so I divided 7/8=.875
or
680/1*7/8=4760/8=595 mi
