Hello There,
The quesiton is:
A car traveled an average speed of 75 miles/hour. The car traveled 3 1/3 hours. What was the distance the car drove?
75 miles per hour x 3 and 1/3
First, how do we put 1/3 into a decimal? Fantasitco!!! We divide the first number by the second number. 1÷3= 0.33333etc
75 x 3.33333...=?
249.999999.....
249.999...is your answer!! He drove approximately 250 miles :)

A car traveled an average speed of 75 miles/hour. The car traveled 3 1/3 hours. What was the distance the car drove?

Distance = Speed/Rate * Time

Using this formula, we get: 75 * 3 1/3, or 75%2A%2810%2F3%29 = highlight_green%0D%0A%28250%29 miles.
