You can put this solution on YOUR website!
what is 18=5p+3?

Step 1. Subtract 3 from both sides of equation to get p-terms on right side and numbers only on left side.

18-3=5p%2B3-3

15=5p

Step 2. Divide 5 from both sides of the equation

15%2F5=5p%2F5

3=p

p=3

Check if 18=5p%2B3 or 18=5%2A3%2B3 which is a true statement.

Step 3. ANSWER: p=3.

I hope the above steps were helpful.
