Yes! You can see this more readily when you rearrange the equation into the familiar "slope-intercept" form.
%282x-y%29%2F%283%2B6y%29+=+11 Multiply both sides by %283%2B6y%29
2x-y+=+11%283%2B6y%29 Simplify.
2x-y+=+33%2B66y Add y to both sides.
2x+=+33%2B65y Subtract 33 from both sides.
2x-33+=+65y Divide both sides by 65.
%282%2F65%29x-33%2F65+=+y or y+=+%282%2F65%29x-33%2F65 This is a linear equation.
But you can also tell that it's linear because the there's no variable with a degree (exponent) higher than 1.
