You can
put this solution on YOUR website!
2[x-(4+2x)+3]=2x+2
2[x-4-2x+3]=2(x+1) (as 2 is cancelled from both sides)
x-2x-1=x+1
-x-1-(x+1)=0
-x-1-x-1=0
-2x-2=0
-2(x+1)=0
x+1=0
x=-1
