Step 4. Multiply 4 to get rid of denominators

4%2A%28x%2B8%29%2F2=4%2A25%2F4

2x%2B16=25

Step 5. Subtract 16 to both sides of equation

2x%2B16-16=25-16

2x=9

Step 6. Divide 2 to both sides of equation to get x
