You can put this solution on YOUR website!
If an object is dropped the distance d it falls in 1 sec. is given by

d=gt%5E2%2F2

where g is approx. 32 ft. per sec^2. find the distance an object will fall in 6 sec.?

Given t= 6 sec, then

d=32%2A6%5E2%2F2=32%2A36%2F2=16%2A36=576 ft.

ANSWER is 576 ft where the object fell for 6 seconds.

I hope the above steps were helpful.
