You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Factor:
25%5E2+-+36 = 25%5E2+-+6%5E2 = %285+%2B+6%29%285+-+6%29
Solve:
%28x-7%29%28x%2B8%29 Use the FOIL method.
x%5E2+%2B+8x+-+7x+-+56+=+x%5E2+%2B+x+-+56

You can't factor it.
25^2 - 36 = 625 - 36 = 589
(X-7)(X+8) = 0
Set each to 0
(X-7) = 0 then X = 7
(X+8) = 0 then X = -8
You have two answers because you have a 2nd order equation to solve, i.e.
X^2 +X - 56 = 0
checking,
X = 7, then 7^2 + 7 - 56 = 0
49+7-56 = 0
56-56 = 0 check
Same for X = -8
(-8)^2 -8-56 = 0
64-8-56=0
64-64=0 check
