You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Let one of the pieces by "x" inches long.
Then the other must be "x+10" long.
EQUATION:
one piece + the other is 98inches
x + x+10 = 98
2x = 88
x = 44 inches (length of shorter piece)
x + 10 = 54 inches (length of longer piece)
